Great, most states charge tax based on value, you should pay more than the kid with a $100 wal-mart bike.

Motorcycles and trailers typically have very little wear on the road, and are certainly less intrusive from a traffic standpoint. Should they not pay taxes?

If they own a home they pay taxes, if they bought the bike they paid sales taxes on it, should 8-10yr old's pay bike "taxes" too?. What about pedestrians?, those sidewalks cost $$ buddy, pay up if you want to use 'em, see how ridiculous your argument sounds?.

all shoes need to be registered with annual renewal fees to pay for sidewalk repair.

Bad example of an "asshole", as long as the cyclist is doing his/her best to stay out of the way no one should be enraged by having to "tap" your brakes, oh the horror!. A proper example of an "asshole", someone who goes to the store counter with 25-30 lotto tickets and asks the person to run every one through the lotto machine to see if one is a winner, meanwhile people get 8-9 deep in back of this "asshole" waiting to pay for gas, snacks, drinks, ect..

Fuck shopping at that place.

We've covered this before.

If the road has a double yellow, you must be tagged and insured. If there's no double yellow then you don't need a tag.

You live in FL as well so sooner or later you will go in after you fill up wanting a cold drink and wind up in line behind one of the "lotto idiots" I call 'em, "how much is that scratch-off?, "have there been a lot of winners?", or the worst of all, the one's that scratch the ticket right at the counter while people are waiting in line. IMHO the store management should do something about it if they want repeat business..

Not going to happen, when I see people riding off to work in the AM do you think they can afford that?, are there so many as to cause any problems??, nope, not a one so you fall into the "winier" category along with Ssslug.

If you're calling people assholes for causing you to have to tap your brakes, you have rage issues.

I bike.

I run stop signs.

And sometimes, red lights.:$

Eff, I'm cool with it. Haters gonna hate.

edit: I run stop signs in my truck too. Does that make me a hypocrite?

Posting an over-used Gif doesn't change the correct call, if the mere slowing down for a few seconds gets you that riled up you DO have rage issues.
All inconsiderate people annoy me like they annoy everyone else. What we each find inconsiderate may vary. I'm sure you've never been annoyed by inconsiderate behavior.

The gif applies here whether overused or not.

When i'm riding my bike I get out of people's way, there wouldn't be much of an issue if everyone did the same, but people just take up whatever space they want, regardless of how much traffic they are causing to pile up behind them.

may not be something to rage about, but no you should not be causing other people on the road to brake or do anything. if you know what you're doing and you aren't an inconsiderate prick, you're capable of maneuvering yourself without impacting other people whatsoever, most of the time.

This is an example of how to behave like a decent human being.

Cyclists annoy most people. I don't see what's exciting about this. Anyone who lives in an area where there's a lot of cyclists knows that a lot of the cyclists think their shit don't stink and are insufferable assholes on the road because of it.

Again, not all cyclists are insufferably proud assholes, just most of them. Give em space, you don't want to get tied up with them.

So is the following true?

SA hates cyclists but loves bikers/motorcyclists.

Can someone confirm for me?

What SA loves is being a troll, an as abrasive a manner as possible. Everything else (including him saying insane, frequently contradictory things) follows from that.

rage issues or not, going 15 mph in a 45mph zone is dangerous on a bike. on this occurrence, yeah car driver was completely in the wrong. its annoying out here in the flatlands because we have your typical moron jump on a mountain bike, think he's lance armstrong, get on a 55mph route going 15-ish mph in the middle of the road believing he is safe and causing problems. which some just simply get ran over and then cry about safety and awareness.

this situation for once im glad to see it was a cyclist actually doing what he was supposed to. very rare out here in IL to see that happen.
