I've been guilty of this in the past. The worst thing I ever did was when i was delivering for a wine shop (job after high school classes) and the store had a full sized ford van. I pulled out of this drive way and with the corner of my rear bumper, made contact with the front bumper/fender of this little vokswagen cabriolet. While I dont remember the specifics of the accident such as speed etc...i did notice the vw's front bumper, headlights, license plate etc.. in the middle of the steet. The entire front end was smashed to hell. I got out and amazingly nobody had come out their house or was looking out any windows. I pickup up the bumper, lights etc... and placed them near the car. I made the decision to run for it since I was 17 at the time, newly licensed and insured and I was scared as hell. Im going to be 29 soon and no cop calls/visits yet. I still do feel bad for it...the poor little car was just ruined.

I got to the carpool lot after work one day to notice that a white vehicle had opened their doorn into my Mustang. I looked over to see the car was still there....with a little bit of my paint on it. I thought Hmmmm.... that person now has a size 11 foot print in their Lincoln Navigator door.

LOL wow, that's pretty sad the guy actually had the balls to leave his car there. I have to say, good job lol.

It was the passenger side of the vehicle, so maybe the driver didn't even know.
