FTFY
haha I liked War Zone more than the Jane movie (although the Johnny Cash dude was cool), but after watching Dirty Laundry I'm back in the Jane camp.

Plus, does the public really want a movie where.Batman kills the Joker?
We've had two already.
oh shit, war.
We've had two already.
I am so glad.quicksilver at the end of the movie looks awesome, unlike the douchey looking kid version of him in the upcoming xmen movie.

Now that they know Captain America can bring in the big money, they put it up against Batman/Superman.

And, with any luck Captain America 3 will have Frank Castle!
Just one, Burton's 1989 Batman. Batman didn't kill the Joker at the end of the Dark Knight.
And given the questionable casting, the conflicts in Man of Steel, I'd wager a lot of people will go see Captain America 3 before they see Batman/Superman. Myself included.
The only questionable choices in casting I see is Gal Gadot as Wonder Women because she is far too hot to be Diana Price
Not too hot, too skinny. Wonder Woman should be built more like Gina Carano.
I dont know why these studios would directly compete for the same weekend. People who would watch one would watch the other, so just give each a couple weeks between releases. There's plenty to go around.
Far too hot. Wonder Woman is not that hot.
The only problem is there will be zero reference to Magento being their father, IIRC.
After reading both of your posts you two clearly need to visit a barber. Toss the anime image while you are at it.I would definitely consider Diana to be on the "hot list", but then again, most comic book females are drawn to be more attractive. However, I think a lot of it depends on what features you prefer in women. Wonder Woman is rather strong and athletic, and she has the build to support that. So, if your preference is scrawnier women, you may not find her as attractive. I've rewritten this a few times, and one of the first variations talked about "runway models" and how Wonder Woman definitely does not look like that. Why do I bring that back up? Because Gal Gadot does.
It feels rather strange to be talking about the hotness of comic book characters. I get the feeling that we're treading into dangerous neckbeard territory....
The only questionable choices in casting I see is Gal Gadot as Wonder Women because she is far too hot to be Diana Price and Eisenberg as Luthor, but that would easily work out if Luthor is more of an evil hipster atop a global corporation. The same people crying about Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne were the same crying about Heath Ledger as the Joker. Oh, you don't remember that internet outrage? Yeah...
Also loved the bible quote sneak in joke. Might have been the best reference in the whole movie.
Since I missed it entirely, I must disagree. 😛
Anyone else notice how hard they had to work to not say "Black" Falcon.
I swore someone one was going to say it by accident as some sort of joke.

Just saw it too. My favorite Marvel movie next to Iron Man 1.
I also wish they had either dropped the evil Swedish doctor bit or expanded it. It didn't really seem necessary, especially since he eliminated himself with the missile strike, which doesn't seem to fit his self-preservation type of character. And it made me hope that we would have seen the Red Skull after the credits, which we didn't. I was kind of expecting the doctor-in-the-Matrix to be one of the underlying evils, sort of like the reverse of the Jane AI from Ender's game - integrated world-wide, but with an evil purpose instead of a good one.
That was the best action movie I have seen in YEARS! It was great! Best movie I've seen all year, in fact! I thought the fighting choreography was excellent - they kept it slow enough that you could see what was happening, which is something that has really annoyed me in the more modern action films - too fast to keep up with. I don't think I've enjoyed a fighting movie this much since the first Bourne movie. And the action never got repetitive because (1) they kept breaking it up with story parts, and (2) they made all of the action different instead of hours of sameness. So +1 for that!
My only complaint would be that I wish they had drawn me in more to hate & love the characters. Like, you know that Redford is going to be the bad guy. And you're shocked that he shoots the maid, but there's something so passé about it. Does anyone remember "Sleeping with the Enemy" with Patrick Bergin? You HATED that guy & couldn't WAIT for Julie Roberts to kill him! I wish they had bumped up the writing from like 90% to 100% in that aspect - sucked you in totally, instead of just being along for the ride.

The part where the Winter Soldier ripped the steering wheel out of the car was awesome.
Yup.
I was very impressed.
It went a bit pure action-porn at the end, but the first 2/3s of the movie was excellent.
Definitely in my top few comic movies of all time.
