They're really milking every penny out of the franchise as they can eh? When's the next shitty Hulk movie going to come out?

I know that a lot of people didn't like the first Captain America movie, but I loved it.

I liked it too. In fact, I've liked just about all of the recent Marvel movies that I've seen:

Iron Man
Iron Man III
Captain America
Thor
The Avengers

Iron Man 2 on the other hand was just shitty.

Actually I would like to see a new Hulk movie with Mark Ruffalo. There are so many good Hulk stories out there to tap into.

Pretty much this. There are some parts I loved about Ironman 2. But it was overall, horrible. And some scenes were just awkward.

Yawn, first Captain America movie should have gone direct to DVD. At they rate they're churning out these shitfests you really can't expect the quality to be decent.

captain america was just an okay flick. in general his character is just boring though, which is why i don't think i enjoyed the first one as much as i did other marvel movies.

I didn't really care for the trailer much. You don't even see The Winter Soldier until the end, and the beginning mostly appears to be Cap not agreeing with SHIELD's methods on keeping the world safe. That isn't terribly surprising given Cap's storylines in the past, but I don't know if it will be interesting enough.

Iron Man 2 on the other hand was just shitty.

The only two on that list that I would rate highly would be Iron Man and The Avengers. Thor would have been far better if the middle didn't seem so unbelievable. Why did Jane and Thor fall for each other? Is a chat on a starry night all it takes? :p In a sense, he turned from a spoiled, brash prince to a humble man willing to sacrifice himself so easily. The only relevant event to promote that change would be how he failed to retrieve his hammer.

As for Iron Man 3, that movie was yet another Iron Man movie with a terrible villain. I can excuse Stane in Iron Man as that's an origin story, but Whiplash and Justin Hammer was awful in Iron Man 2. So, when I saw the trailers, I had high hopes for The Mandarin, but we know how that turned out. The real villain? A guy who Tony Stark stood up once on New Years. Yes, the equivalent of a malevolent ex. Not to mention there's absolutely no drama or suspense in the movie. You'd have to be completely brain-dead to think that Pepper dies near the end when she falls. She obviously was afflicted with Extremis, which we've seen other Extremis-afflicted people survive crazy accidents. If you could have actually believed she was dead, that would have been a good moment because it would help evoke some good emotion in the audience (sadness) and in Tony (anger). Pacific Rim was a more emotionally-riveting movie than Iron Man 3.

As for Captain America, I liked the first half, but the second half wasn't that interesting. I like a hero that's willing to sacrifice himself and do what's right, because that's what we think of a hero... a selfless do-gooder. The first half was ripe with that with the easiest example being when Steve dove on what he thought was a live grenade to try and save his squad. That's also what I liked about the end of Thor.

LOL - half of those aren't even Marvel movies, and some of the Marvel movies you listed aren't owned by Marvel (e.g. the Fantastic Four).

Anyone notice how Stark's dad died during WW2 according to Captain America, but Iron Man 2 suggests Tony was alive and 10 years old when his dad was still around. Does that mean Tony Stark was alive during World War 2? How the hell does he look in his 30's in contemporary times?

Nowhere in Captain America suggest Stark's dad die in that movie.
Nowhere.

edit, a bit harsh. You were asking a question, not giving opinions on something, my bad.

I think he's talking about the event where they're giving Steve the Super Soldier serum, and the Nazis attack causing a lot of havoc in the lab. However, Stark is shown later in the movie flying Captain America into Germany (I think that's where it was...), so he's definitely not dead. He does die sometime while Captain America is froze in the ice though.

amazing how many people cannot comprehend something simple. The old guy that died was a German (or Austrian) doctor that fled Germany because Hitler.
He's like the Werner Von Braun of fringe/fictional science. He's not a Stark. His name was Dr. Erksine.

I have enjoyed all the marvel movies so far. They aren't works of art. they are movies you turn off your brain and enjoy.

as a huge comic geek i can enjoy them.
