um i think spikegifted is just refering to unlocking a cpu.
to actually change the default value of the cpu... you will either need a mobo that supports multiplier adjustment, or you will need to change the L6, L3, L4 bridges by cutting and connecting the appropriate ones (the link above shows which bridges those are)
a thrid options is a little adapter ive seen, it goes in socketA socket, and then the cpu mounts on it... it has little jumpers on it that you can change to set your default multiplier at what ever you want..... the problem is the price, it costs about $30, for that price you may as well get a new mobo
