Background:
College Dorm
Linksys Router WRT54G (w/ wireless)
PC is hooked up to router, and Playstation 3 is hooked up to router via ethernet as well (I was using WiFi before but no longer).
I've been having trouble connecting my PS3 online, it's strange. I fail to sign in, and then when I go back to my PC the internet stops working, so I unplug the router for a few minutes, replug, then everything's okay (except my PS3's online).
When I try signing in again and failing to do so, I go to Network Settings on the PS3, set it up again, and then when it does a connection test the IP Address acquiring fails and then back on my PC it suddenly doesn't have an IP Address (0.00.00 etc.). Turning off my PS3 and restarting my computer got the internet back up.
So what's the deal? Why can't I go online with my PS3? My Wii connects to the internet fine.
If this needs to be known, I am port forwarding DC++ 35566 to 35566 and Hamachi 12975 to 32976. PS3 was able to go online before with those forwarded ports before, however. I dunno what's up now.
