was it the powerline 880s dual ammo? If so, I walked into our local Walmart and bought one without a second glance. In fact, 2 friends and I all walked in and bought one each. Didnt even show a license...(Connecticut btw).
We were all sitting around one night and he had a crappy red rider and we was shootin cans and got an idea to go get better ones. One of my friends spent $150 on his and it is like shooting a .22 (we had to stop at 9pm because afraid someone my call police it was so loud) It shot a pellet straight through a laptop screen and cover.

anyways mine was only $40 and it kind of sucks...may return for the better break barrel 1200

As a matter of fact I am not for those 2A "rights" for deadly firearms. My BB gun is another matter. There's an epidemic of gun violence around here, in particular in neighboring Oakland, and IMO the only way it's going to stop short of an economic boom (I'm not holding my breath on that) is an assault on gun ownership. Yes, it will be only criminals with guns in their hands, but in time their numbers will diminish apace. :colbert:

I'm for all of your rights and would die to defend them, even though you're a colossal fucking idiot.

You're full of shit, and you wouldn't know a right if it bit you in the nose.

That's those idiot laws in California for you. NY is getting just as bad, as is CT and NJ .. just go out of state and buy it (pay in cash or they may track you by your credit card address) .. And just for info, credit cards issued by Bank of America will be denied for any firearms purchases (guns or ammo for sure and sometimes, just by the name of the store you are ordering from)

Knife crimes will/would increase no doubt but just how scared are you of a knife when you're behind the counter at a liquor store compared to when joe blow used to come in maybe with a concealed gun? Knives are scary but not as scary. Just sayin'... it would be a whole new ballgame if guns were very scarce.

Machetes are pretty fucking scary. I know of someone that had an arm removed by a machete and he said it was pretty fucking scary, jus sayin. If you look at places with the strictest gun laws, you will see that they have the highest incidence of gun crimes
(CA, Chicago, D.C. etc...) against unarmed citizens and it has NOT decreased with time. I don't understand how anyone could think they would be safer as a defenseless victim.

It kind of makes me wonder too... wonder why I would want or need these mysterious items you can't seem to name that I can't buy and that I probably don't have any use for anyway. Geez, it's just so awful living here, I think I'll move back to Western New York. :p
CZroe is right - they say "Not for sale in California" not "banned..." Just do a quick google search, putting that phrase in quotation marks. The list is longer than this thread; much longer.

OK, I finally got my pellet gun (from Amazon), cancelled my order for pellets from an Amazon 3rd party because 6 days after ordering UPS still didn't have them in their tracking system (I was antsy... besides that, the 500 Crossman pellets were kind of pricey at $11.99) and made it to Big 5 Sporting goods where I got reamed for $6.99 + tax for 250 Crosman pellets, which posts say are available from Walmart for $2.00! Evidently, Walmart will not sell them to me, either online or at their stores (although I'm not positive about this, but it appears so).

Well, I figure I have enough pellets for my current need, certainly, but I'm curious if there's a source (perhaps locally) where I can buy pellets and not get shaken down. Do you know of any?
