cant boot into windows

When I turn on my laptop, a black screen comes on and says that It cannot boot into windows. It says invalid boot.ini file, NTdetect failed?

If you can go into Recovery Console, at the command prompt, do: Type Boot.ini to see your boot file.
 
If you still cannot fix it, boot from a Window installation CD and do a repair re-installation.
