being a teen sucks... i'm a junior at my high school and my sisters a senior, and I always thought she was pretty much drug/alcohol free. Was invited to a party tonight that I didn't want to goto cuz 1) the cops will probably break it up within 5 minutes 2) there's gonna be drugs/alcohol there and i dont do or wnat to be around that kind of sh!t

I knew my sister was going out tonight but only when she was going out the door did I realize where she was going... dunno if she does that kind of stuff but the fact that she's going in the first place makes me a little bit suspicious. I know for a fact that a couple of her friends do marijuana but I thought my sister was smart enough to stay away... I guess not

why would she ruin her life that way? I mean, next thing you know she's going to get addicted and then not go to college and sit on her ass all day smoking grass. You need to try to save her before its too late, I thought you said she was smart!

All of my friends smoke pot, and drink, I am with then every time they do. I don't. All i say is "Nah man", it's as simple as that. Plus, I'm the designated driver Not to mention my LITTLE sister does both (but not in my presence).

Maybe she went just to have fun and doesn't go for the drinks and drugs.I can't really say too much about parties though I have never been to one and am in college and neither have I done or do drugs.I can't stand the taste of beer but thats just me.

you sister is not going to die from smoking a joint, nor is she from having a few drinks. You are really really overdramatising the situation and making it into a dynasty thing "Why is she doing this??? She is going to destroy herself along with our entire family!!!"
The fact is, most of the stuff that you have heard about pot is not true. Its not addictive nor does it kill brain cells.

Anyway, if you do trust your sister and stuff, just ask her what she does at these parties. If you do tend to get along, she should be willing to talk. Tell her that you're concerned, and you just want to make sure that she's still clean of funky substances, such as cyanide and arsenic.

There is not much you can do about it. You probably don't want to know the truth anyways because it will freak you out. She probably does a lot worse. I know a guy who caught his younger sister at a party... lets say doing favors for guys. Took her home to the parents.

Well, all that I was saying was that the effect on the mind was overexagerated. Smoking pot occasionaly has almost no adverse affects. READ
