I just picked up the S200 from Fry's in Fremont (San Jose CA). They have 3 more in stock, as I assume the other local stores have stock also. I bought the S330 a few weeks back, but it was larger than the S100 I have now, and the S200 was the same size with very similar features to the S330, so I opted to wait and get the S200. So, how is the S200? The S100 is hard to beat.. I think the S100 is built better, nicer metal housing in my opinion. What I want is the filters and the longer shutter speeds. I won't use the video much, but I did try it and it was "OK". Shooting in 160 mode, I could take 30 sec of video. In the 320 mode it was 9-10 sec (as I recall) and I did not try the 640 mode. I still think the camera saturates the reds A LOT. Since I had the 330 for a few days, the learning curve on this 200 was very fast for me. > I think the S200 will make a great, useable first camera. It's small enough to take where ever you go, it's light, so you will not know it's with you. You WILL take lots of pictures with it. > I'll have trouble justifying the difference between my S100 and the S200. I only shoot pictures, not movies. > I'll shoot several more pictures before I make my final decision, to keep my S100 or upgrade.
