Thanks I didn't know, I had assumed that it's 30 days ... maybe I should just get my free 128MB CF but the possibility of saving another $60 getting it for $190 after PM is very tempting ... oh well I guess it will be nice to have 128MB CF. Besides I'm not sure if/when OM.com will ever ship the A40.

You ought to be able to recover nearly $60 just by selling the CF card. I just sold mine to my friend for $50, and they seem to go for about $60 on ebay. And actually you might come out ahead that way, since the pricematch amount to that website seems to have been reduced to $35.
(Shh... I knew all along that shipping was $25, because I called them before I ever submitted the pricematch request to OM. But it took OM at least a week, and who knows how many PM requests, before they bothered to call Extremedigitalonline and find out about shipping. But now they know, and the price they're matching is $265.)

1) If Officemax does not PM the full 60.00 because of shipping charges make sure to point out to them that you are not receiving this camera over night. Not sure what Extreem digital's groun shipping charges are but it should be quite a bit less.

2) Not sure if OfficeMax was being truthfull or not but they told me mine would be sent out by the manufacture.

Actually, there is a new deal in OfficeMax starting this Sunday where you get 64MB CF card FREE with this digital camera! Hot again

This Sunday (8-9) they are doing the deal again with 64 meg cards free in some areas.

However, once again, the ads are regional. The Lexington KY didn't have it in the ad, the Knoxville TN ad does have it. Guess it depends on the market.

MJ99 is right. My camera was shipped via UPS ground. For those charged 24.95 for next day air, I would check to see how your camera was shipped. I sent a email to officemax to get another price adjustment. Dirty bastages tried to rip me off on my pricematch

There are two approaches.

1) Create the order online (do not actually place the order) including the 50 off 250 and print it out. Take this to the store and ask them if they will match the online discount. Most will will says there not supposed to but will.

2) Call a CSR and place the order. You will have to remind them about the coupon and free card. Make sure you have the links and site name where you found the 50 off 250 handy, they asked me. Most of all be patient.

Once you have ordered it check back through this link Previous A40 thread for a good price match.

Anyone who got in on the deal with free 128MB card still waiting? I ordered 8-1. The delivery date on the website is bogus so don't pay attention to it (mine is suppose to be today but it still hasn't shipped).


BTW, I got a Canon PCS20 soft case for $10 shipped by buying directly from an e-bay seller (kawchakk). Kinda messy packaging but nothing fragile is inside so no biggie. He shipped it quick and I got it in a couple of days.
