Can anyone with this camera offer me some advice on how to take a close picture of the face of a wrist watch (analog, not digital)? I'm trying to help a friend sell his watch on Ebay and want to get a good close up picture of the face, but all my pics come out blurry. I've tried playing around with the settings, but couldn't get a decent pic. If any of you can try this and can get a good pic, please let me know how.
Just a suggestion, but have you tried taking a picture in macro mode yet?

Right, you gotta push the button so you have the little flower picture on the bottom. This is Macro mode. You need to use macro mode if you are closer than a few feet. It will focus only up to about 6 or 8 inches away though, so maybe you are too close to the watch. My rule of thumb: outstretch my thumb and pinky and keep the camera this far away, guaranteed to be in focus. You can crop later to "zoom" in on the watch face. With 2 megapixels, this is no problem.

I have the A20 and I love it, the A40 is even better! Highly recommended.
