Still waiting on mine plus the card from Officemax... In the meantime, anyone know of a good adaptor for this camera? I heard it eats batteries pretty quick so for indoor shots and practice shots, I wanna use an adaptor. The Canon one was expensive so I'm thinking of getting a generic one.

i use a lenmark charger plus 8 1800mAH rechargeable AA batteries. those dont get eaten up that quickly

Instead of using an AC adapter I would strongly suggest getting rechargeable NiMH batteries. What's your budget?

Well I'd like to spend under $40. How much is a charger/rechargables gonna set me back? What's a good brand? I just liked the thought of using a adaptor since I would have to constantly worry about draining the batteries. Thanks!

Unfortunately, the money juggle never worked out in time to get this camera last week. Kinda baulking on purchasing now and still having to spend another 50 on capture card and 40 on batteries. I would like to have a good camera by mid september to take with me to Disney.
