How does eating candy raise hp - is it worth doing with tens of thousands of candy, do you get more HP the more candy? Or buy stuff with most candy then eat?

I started about 10 hours ago and I still can't beat the dragon without using a ton of scrolls and potions. Currently at 580 HP.

I haven't used my wishing well yet either

here is how i beat the dragon:

make about 10 invuln potions, 10 seeds and buy 10 teleport scrolls. also get like 20-30 major heal potions

1. once you make it to the dragon, invuln yourself and attack him till the invuln runs out

2. after invuln runs out immediately teleport. this will take you back to the beginning of the room, but dragon and you both keep the same health amount

3. immediately plant a seed after teleport, which takes a while to hack through. this will give you time to pop a couple heal potions before cutting through the seed tree.

4. repeat steps 1 thru 3 until you win!

I use 2 teleports instead of a seed. It takes 8 + 4 invuln for me. I was trying to farm the dragon cause it's around 60k candies but it wasn't worth the hassle.

How long is this game played over? weeks?

Nope, I just beat the game after hearing about it in this thread. I didn't cheat.

It's not hard, just tricky. Look up some hints if you get stuck.

I farmed the first forest quite a bit, built up my lollipop farm exponentially...1 planted equals 1 an hour, but 2=4 and 4=9, it starts getting big and I just kept dumping them back into the farm. Probably only took me 30 minutes to get it down to seconds.

Got me some stuff in a chest and went to the swamp and figured out the frog crap. Got me a pimp sword and some pots and killed the goblins and shit. Got my diamond sword and upgraded it to chocolate then farmed the whale (try to average no more than 1.5 pots per farm to make candy).

Took a bit of effort to get through the gate, don't recall if I got fire sword first...I think I did. The stairs were easy, got some minion scrolls. Dragon was a combo of scrolls and pots and shit. Maxed out my lollipops at 18k planted or something like that...100 a second. Then killed some cows to make it 300 a second. Farmed dragon bitch for a while and got more health and upgrade weapon and more candy and everything. Then did hell, I thought it was easy, go turtle to slow down/doge shit better and survive more use minion scrolls for ghosts and a mixture of pots.

Yeah I don't want to give any more away...other than to say you do get to fight Chuck Norris :awe:

As far as eating candy goes, it seem you get exponentially less hp per candy the more you eat. You don't really need a ton of HP, most of the maps need tricks not life to be beaten. Some things like ghosts kill half your hp per hit, so you need to use other things for that. A couple hundred life is all I needed to beat the game (I think I had around 4-500 when I was done).

Oh another hint, don't buy to many potions, they're expensive. After the castle stairs you get to make your own pots, 100 instead of 600 (for the smalls anyway). Makes farming certain areas (like water and gate) really worthwhile. Don't spend more in pots than you earn, but try to get as much life as you can before you finish a map so you can farm quicker. I could quickly/easily do whales with 2-3 regular pots (100 candy each) and got 800-1400 candy per run. The gate can build up a ton depending on how you play...and once your good enough, farming the dragon averages like 40-50k per run.

Wow, I'm dumb, I just realized you can do old quests over and over to get more candies. I'm still new to the game, so I'm just doing mount goblin over so there is no rest period. Sometimes I get 500 candies running it though, so it seems worth it.

Oh and don't waste your money on "more candies" from the witch lol. I got fooled into 300k lollipops for a few thousand candy. Faster candy is very worth it though (first one doubles your candy rate).

apparently 100 lollipops/second is the maximum output for the lollipop farm

I found this myself as well. That's 20k lollipop plant. I added up to 30k and output is still 100 lollipop/s.

Edit: Just saw the hint above. Thanks :D
