Is it sad that I'm dual boxing now?

Dual browsering? Dual tabbing, whatever, I started a new game while my old one is gaining candies for HP and lps for sword upgrades.

It's crazy how my mind works, give me carrot and stick progression and I'm a drooling idiot, even if it's ASCII art. Been like this since the C64 days.

This game actually makes me want to fire up visual c# and work on an old simple MUD I wrote a while back. Need to add more quests and items!!

Lead off with an earthquake scroll or the other one that damages everything. Have heal potions ready and use them. Might help to use a fire scroll on the whale.

How does eatinc candy add HP - if you eat 100K candy, and then 50k, do you get more or nothing? Is it ok to eat several times, or better to save up? Any limit on the bonus?

you have to eat to get up to 400 or 500, it's a log scale i believe so eating more eventually gives you less actual hp. not sure if there is a bonus

after a certain point having a lot of health cant save you, you will need to figure out how to use major hp and invincibility and teleport and seeds and such to heal yourself

Me too - thanks to a post here - got the amulet but gotten killed since trying for horn.

Update: Got the horn, not looking forward to the next level.

Still haven't used the wishing well's options.

Still using the diamond sword, can't use forge.
