Not to pry but what is the overall prognosis for your cancer given it's location, stage, and other features (differentiation, grading, et al)?
Had my 10 week out pet scan yesterday and it came back with no sign of the lump!! My lymph nodes showed a tiny bit of pink, but the doctor said that was normal to have sugar activity there still and it did not mean it was cancerous. I will get cat and mri scans every 3 months or so for the first year and then every 6 months for a year or two after that and then just yearly scans if everything works out, but as for now, I'm cancer free! Through this ordeal I lost 90 lbs and I've started within the past couple weeks to eat normally through my mouth. I still have dry mouth and need to follow every bite of food with water, but I can live with that as it will slow down my eating and cause me to not eat so much, so quickly. Thanks for all the support and I'll post back if anything changes or to answer questions.

... I'm not in any pain, not taking any meds, and am able to do family stuff again like football games, festivals, etc. Thank you all for the prayers and words of wisdom. It really helped me get through a lot of the unknown.
Still feeling well. Hovering around 180 lbs, down from 260+. Thinking my thyroid might be a bit out of whack as I'm always cold, not eating like I used to, and not gaining weight and still feel tired sometimes, but all temporary things. I'm not in any pain, not taking any meds, and am able to do family stuff again like football games, festivals, etc. Thank you all for the prayers and words of wisdom.
