I know some people may play favorites but its really just for the fun of it, with bragging rights. Anyone who is really interested in the draft wouldn't need the incentive so its just for those sitting on the fence. BTW I have toyed with the idea of giving away an authentic team jersey for the winner which would be a nice bonus. I can pay for it but if anyone wanted to volunteer $5 each to make it happen, I wouldn't turn you away ;-)

If everyone want this to work, please recruit people. It doesn't require a lot of work to prepare for the draft, there is a ton of information online. I have done everything I can do from setting up a draft forum, recruiting people and offering money. So I leave it to the other members to help fill out the rest of the teams.

Well first we need all teams to be accounted for to have the draft. We are close but we need the final push.

I am ok with any date other than April 11-18 in which I will be out of the country and not sure about my internet connection. If you have a good date, I suggest posting it at the draft forum. There is a thread there about it. Usually a weekend day would be best but I wouldn't be against say a weeknight as long as we can accomodate those that work late shifts. If you have a favorite time or a time you absolutely cannot make it, that is the place to tell people about it before we reach a consensus date.

There has been a suggestion brought up that I want to consider about moving the draft time until next thursday or Friday, right before the real draft. This could be a good thing because it gives me more time to recruit some of my friends to participate, since we are a few owners short right now.

If any current contestants object to moving the date, please post or pm me quickly. I don't want to move the date and have a lot of people miss the draft who can only do it this weekend.

Also if we move this to a week night right before the draft, the clock will have to shorten for each round to fit it into one evening. So that means people would have to have their picks ready to go more quickly. Any objections to moving the draft date, please post here or in the other thread.

Well I have two objections to Thursday or Friday, and 2 objections to this Saturday. Hmm... What about Tuesday to Wednesday next week ? I'll try to please as many people as I can but someone may have to be sacrificied for the greater good.

Right now we are setup for 5 minute first round picks, and 3 minutes for rounds 2-3. Max of 5 hours but should go much quicker. I think that makes for a perfect weeknight scenario.
