2 hour sessions monday to thur nights, 1 hour on a friday night, 2 hours on a sunday afternoon and 3 out for 4 early morning sessions @ 1.75 hours each
2 hour sessions were roughly 6000m sometimes 7000
hour sessions 3000-3500
hour n 3/4's were 5000 odd
5 2 hours roughly 30k, 3 mornings brings that up to 45k
i did that up n till about 16-17, but got rather bored of it, that type of training has diminishing returns once your 18+. that type of training is more for the 11-16 age range, to give them a strong base on which to build on. from there your supposed to focus specifically on one or two events and train for them, using the fitness gained from all those meters as a base.
made it onto the loughborough uni team this year, but ive since dropped it since my course is more important to me.
