Can you see a CRT flickering at 60hz?

I can't see any flickering at 75Hz. 70Hz is acceptable for me. I can still see a little bit of flickering on a bright screen, but other than that, it looks pretty flicker free. I tend to use 70-75Hz, even if my monitor supports over 120Hz as the lower refresh you use, the sharper the image.
