In my old car it was easy because it could turn on a dime. My new car has the turning radius of a yacht so it makes it a little more difficult but I can still manage.

Don't drive yet but if GTA3 is any indication, then yes. Just prey you aren't the owner of either car I'm sweezing between;).

It's really not hard.

I had never done it before I started this courier job.. Now I do it at least once a day.

It took maybe 2-3 practice runs to get good at it. It's even easier with the Insight, its tiny.

i can do it, but i dont like it, and would sooner park farther away and by myself than go through the trouble.

What is so difficult about it? I barely drive -- certainly don't own a car -- and I can parallel park without a second thought.

If by feelers you mean you're rear view mirror, than i'm in that category. I'm not great at it because I rarely have to do it but I can if necessary. Btw, for the Lexus to do it for you, the space has to be so big that if you can't park that baby in by yourself in a space that big, you really shouldn't be driving at all.

I used to suck at it, until I moved to DC and had to parallel park every time I came home.

and you see more dings on your bumper every week. my poor car =(

Yes, but I can get a little nervous when I'm in my truck and it's going to be a tight fit. When I'm in my Prelude I don't give it a second thought.

I learned to park in San Francisco.

I can parallel park a manual tranny car on hills you can barely walk up or down because they are so steep and without touching any other car or the curb.

I even know how to curb my wheels.

Same here. I voted anyway.

If I didnt have to care about rims or anything like that, I could park anywhere easily.

Trick is to back it in at too sharp an angle so you hit the rubber tire. Than straighten it out a tiny bit and you can slide it in within inches of the curb with no rim rash. Try it sometime.

Parallel park? I'm not sure.

But I did star in a few sex orgy films awhile ago, wherein I did have to parallel pork.

Learned to parallel park driving a delivery van in NYC ... give me one inch on each end of my vehicle & I'll get in there!

Yup. I used to be terrible in a world where you always get your own spot in a parking lot but I've gotten into amazingly small spots once I started parking in college. Now I'm working on left handed parking (one way streets), and while I still suck at the left side, I can get into most spots... Probably not the tightest spot on my left side, but definitely tightass spots on the right.
