Can you go one day without using something that has a laser in it?

as long as i dont use a computer and listen to the radio in the car (as opposed to cd's), then yes, i could avoid lasers quite easily :p

Not sure about the mouse however...

Posting this means you're using lasers (they light the tubes!).

Turning on your PC applies power to your optical drives. All optical drives upon power up will energize the pickup laser. The focus servo will check for a disc. ;)

Okay, a day where I am camping, and outside of cellular coverage, I can go without using lasers. :p
If I have 3G service, I'll be using the pipes. Does 2G voice use light-powered pipes anywhere? When I go camping I often have 2G service but 3G will be spotty or not existent.
