"...because the Vonage Adapter can not be used with a PC fax modem. Your PC fax modem is meant to be use only with a regular POTS line. Your Vonage Voice Adapter produces a dial tone, as does your PC fax modem. U can't have two (2) dial tone producing devices working on the same line at the same time."
