Seems like everyday there is a new thread asking what video card is best for ~$100-$150, or what mid-level card is best.

The following NINE threads are all on the front page, you dont even need to search for them;

Best $100 pci-e card?
Please recommend sub $100 card.

I'm the last person to tell someone to search rather than post a thread, but here are nine threads on the front page alone that are answering pretty much the same questions.

sooo what would match my setup below?

I was thinking of a Trident TVGA 9000 512kb or a Cirrus logic 1mb card...what would work best with my C2D?

If you are pushing a high end EGA monitor get the Cirrus Logic however if it's just a Amber Monochrome 14" get the trident as long as you are not playing games on it. What kind of PSU do you have? 😉

i think it is far worse to make a thread just to bitch about it

First ... search does not work properly ... which is pretty shameful ...
for a tech site ... perhaps they can't fix it ... after years one wonders

secondly, many of the posters have different configurations ... so a $100 "best" for Joe would not be so good for "Sue"'s rig ... also ... some don't "play games"

if you are *smart* you will have all your "answers" ready and just C&P your response

saves you LOTS of time

They make some pretty wicked burgers.

I whish to had a Sonic's were I live, they ownz. their Sonic Bacon Cheeseburger tastes so good!!! Screw McDonald's or Burger King.
