way to fvck up the pour.

What are yall talking about?

You pour straight down and let the head form ....

:Q

Trust me .. I bartended in a place called O' Mallys Irish pub

A Guinness or similar stout looks like all faom when served.

Head takes about 1-2 minutes to form

The proper way to pour it is to only fill it about 2/3rds full, let it settle for 2 minutes, then pour the rest. I hate bartenders who ignore this fact.

exactly anyone that has had a guiness at a good bar will see the bartenders do this.

After being in America, I have gotten used to bartenders pouring like shiet. I'm going back to Belfast where they can do a proper pour. Also, in your next pic... Try and drink at a pace where there are rings every 3/4" down the glass.

Damn I want some beer now.

I have some at home called Devil Dancer. It's a triple IPA, 13% abv. It's pretty strong beer, but it's pretty good too!

Actually you are suppose to pour the whole thing into a glass.

At home (GUINNESS® Draught in Cans)
Make sure your GUINNESS® Draught can has been chilled for at least 3 hours - preferably at 42.8 degrees. Then open, activating the widget in the process, and pour the whole can into a tilted glass in one smooth action, straightening the glass as it fills.

That's only because of the widget, and thus only for Guinness. Before it was introduced, Guinness was poured the same as all other stouts. All stouts are poured 2/3, wait, 1/3. Thus, the OP fvcked up the pour.

Yea, but it's still not better than Beamish. Long live Cork!

I grew up on the stuff... I personally find Guinness to be much better then Beamish...
