I told you I was crazy! :p

Still, I will not be doing it until the cards go to $400 Cdn. or less, which should be pretty soon I hope. :)

Well knowing me, I'll probably just end up pulling the trigger anyway. I have this terrible compulsion, once I set my mind on something, I can't stop thinking about it until I get it done. Sometimes it's a good thing, sometimes it's not. :D

I'll keep you posted! :)

Cheers,
KT

i didn't think i had any lost relatives ... in Canada
--'till now :p

anyway, you are on "the path" ... it is inevitable ... you have set in motion a chain of 'events' the instant you ordered your 1200w PS
-unless your CC gets 'denied'

:D

... good luck ... and of course, keep us updated!

You can do that with a single 8800GTX though. I play FEAR at OMGWTFBBQ levels without a problem.

Yep, it's in the blood...a sickness...disease even! :Q

That's the good/bad thing about CC companies, they would rather increase my limit than decline the purchase, so I'm not too worried there. :D

Eill do!

Very true, but not really the point of this whole exercise for me.

I have always wanted to try Crossfire and now is a good opportunity for me to do so (just got my year-end bonus). I am not overly concerned with having the greatest thing available (if I was I would just get 8800Ultra SLI) but more for the experience of it all.

I know it sounds kind of stupid, but I'm in this for the fun of it. If it ends up being a big waste of money, well so be it, I'll just chalk it up to experience.

Cheers,
KT

Maybe this weekend, when the forums are down and there is nobody around to talk me out of it! :p
