Glue some "fiber optic" on your head. You know, the stuff on fake christmas trees. Extra point if you add led lighting as well.

Yeah some fibre is plastic that's probably not as bad, not sure how easily it breaks. The Christmas tree stuff tends to be thicker too. Multi mode.
