Techinally it's considered dumping, which is illegal. I just throw most of my stuff away these days. No sense in driving there just to have them refuse half my stuff. They'll gladly take my electronic but say no to my furniture, wtf is up with that. It should be all or nothing.
Don't you have garbage collection where you live? Just toss it in the trash and be done with it. Here I can pretty much put anything at the curb and they'll pick it up. I've even seen them call for another truck to pick it all up. I did that two weeks in a row when I moved into a new house a few years ago because I had so much stuff that needed to go.

Well as long as we are necro'ing. Yo Puff, you just don't know how to horde, or just never acquired anything! Last time we moved, I put a bunch of stuff in the driveway, with a sign that said free. I then hired a 20ft roll off, and filled it TWICE! We still shipped over 11 thousand pounds, --- slacker.
BTW, anyone who is old enough to remember Puffnstuff, should be able to remember Beanies' partner.

ROFL. I had a 20x10 storage unit filled to the top of horded belongings until I decided that I no longer wanted to packrat that stuff. Between yard sales and craigslist I managed to get rid of it all except for what I have now which is practically nothing. When I finish school I'll start over again with all new stuff so no worries.
