Motion man, it sounds like you couldn't form a non-sexual relationship with a women and seem to think you are the example of what a man should be and how he should form relationships. Sorry but some men can actually form relationships with women and not want to fuck them. Just because you can't doesn't mean everyone can't.

What's wrong with being in a friend zone with a friend?

We already covered this. The fact that you refuse to believe, fail to understand it or continue to lie to yourself does not change the fact that, if you are a guy and not otherwise engaged, asexual or gay, being in the friend-zone is a bad thing.

No it isn't. We've been through this.

Where did I say that I ever fell into the parameters of the rule?

All I have said is what the rule is and that it no longer applies to me because I am married.

MotionMan

Are you capable of being friends with girls without involving sex in your decision making process?

You can't make up a fake rule about relationships with women when you obviously can't have a relationship with a women yourself.

agreed, being friends with a women is a great thing. Even if single and straight I can still be friends with a female and enjoy their company and conversation.

And if your female friend(s) asked to enter a relationship or just to have sex, you would turn her(them) down?

MotionMan

Since the rule does not apply to me, my answer to the question is irrelevant.

MotionMan

Haha, the rule does apply to you. Here's my new rule.

Men and Women can be friends without any kind of sexual interest on either persons part, if the man doesn't think with his cock.

There you go, where do you fall with my rule?

To most of them yes. My friend Katie for example, very attractive girl. However we have been friends for years, she is a close family friend, we invite her over for the holidays etc. If she wanted to fuck or get in a relationship I can say with 100% certainty that I would not do so. Not even once. Just isn't worth losing that connection we already have for something I know wouldn't work out.

Just to clarify for MotionMan's benefit.

Are you gay asexual or engaged?

A man who does not think with his cock is either otherwise engaged or asexual, so your rule is merely a proof of the rule I articulated.

Since the rule does not apply to me (I am married), my answer is irrelevant.

Not true. I'll update the rule so you can stop being a little bitch and answer.

Men and Women can be friends without any kind of sexual interest on either persons part, if the man doesn't think with his cock, this includes male / female friendships with men who are married or engaged, or otherwise engaged.

There we go. Still works.

I've been friends with women. They were just really ugly/manish and basically dykes. Of course no guy can be real friends with a good looking girl.

I am a straight male who is in between relationships 😀

I have an occasional fuck buddy, but I would never hook up with her for dating or anything like that.

Wow! So you're straight, single, available and you have attractive female friends who you would not have sex with if offered.

Reading this MotionMan?

MotionMan

We know too much about each other and we are too involved in each others families for things to work out really. Not to mention we have a somewhat odd friendship.
"fuck you Katie"
"suck my cock Michael"
Is a fairly normal exchange between us. I feel in a genuine relationship we would piss each other off so fucking much.

Talk about a made up rule! And it does not address gay and asexual men.

In any event, where is your support for your fake rule?
