hmmmmmm

I do this all the time. Take the family right around 3:50, get lunch prices and the steaks come out at 4:00.

So I was wondering... if a really fat person ate all they could eat at an all-you-can-eat buffet and cleaned out the whole restaurant, would they get kicked out? Also, can people stay as long as they want in buffets? Like an all-day pass? Can they just like come in when the buffet opens, bring some books or work with them, pay, then stay there for the whole day and eat as they read and work?

Few things...

First, maybe they don't... gasp... care? If a few people do this just to be rebellious or whatever, what's the big deal? Let them do it and ignore it, once they get over their fun it'll be ok.

Second, if it became an issue, all you have to do is "close" the restaraunt for an hour or even 30 minutes at some point during the day between lunch and dinner.

Third, they can make a rule requires you to leave by a certain time or something.

Never saw a single buffet restaurant that imposed limits. As long as you aren't wasting it, have all you want.

What's the point of a restaurant booting anyone out anyway? By the time you ate enough to make them think about kicking you out, the damage is done.

Golden Corral supposedly spends roughly 37 cents on an average of a full plate of food you get from them. The average person probably eats no more than 2 plates of food. I would say the average more than makes up whatever you could eat.

as I said in the other thread, buffets will kick out and ban bulmics who are caught binge/purging at their establishment. It breaks the "wasting excessive food" rule.

Probably so you dont waste your drinks.

Whenever my friends go to a buffet we see who can eat the most, so we really are getting our moneys worth. How ever for someone to really start making the place lose money, you would have to be throwing food out by the trash can full.

Drinks are cheaper than food, it would probably be in their best interest to let you fill up on liquid instead.
