I know damn well it can be done with the clone tool, and how to do it, but I couldn't believe anybody here would take the time! :Q

When you're learning, getting anything useful out of PS can take a very long time. 🙂

Tips:

- Work only in FULL-SCREEN mode, with your toolboxes hidden. (hit F, then TAB)

- Use ZOOM to get as close as possible to your work. (CTRL + and -)

- Use PAN instead of scrollbars to move around. (Hold SPACE while clicking and dragging)

- Constantly ALTERNATE your brush size. (Right click on the image, select a brush size)

- When you need a tool: SHOW tools with TAB, pick a tool, HIDE tools with TAB.

- Even better: Every tool can be selected by typing 1 letter, learn to pick your tools with the keyboard instead of the toolbox. You can learn which letter belongs to each tool by resting your mouse above each tool icon in the toolbox.

- As you get better, start experimenting with quickmasks, layer masks, and layer effects.. in that order.

Hope this helps...😀

I also like working in Macromedia Fireworks, but the same fundamentals apply (just with a slightly different tool name).

You guys do great work!

I'll try to do something this evening. Gotta run for the moment.

Don't bother, you suck.

but everything is funny with horrible skills and a cat in it
I do the cat stuff for fun, it's not supposed to look "real". You are obviously a pro and do incredible work. My hats off to ya. I just play with it as a hobby, I've always admitted to be an amature.
MacBaine, on the other hand, I never saw your submission.... 😉

Great tips Mr. Saldivar. I've got one project I'd like to concentrate on, before taking more time to practice. Trouble is, I can't find the stupid "Animation palette menu"! It's supposed to be under the Window menu, but I don't see it. I've got version 7, so it should be around here somewhere... no wonder it takes me so long to do this stuff. 😱

Thanks Loads!
