Probably more likely to catch it in the airport itself, which is where I've tried to be safer. Idiot human cattle standing in line, on the jetbridge, in security lines, etc. I flew a couple months ago and was pretty comfortable on the plane but the idiots in the airport are the ones that I was worried about.Trying to be focused on just the facts here. Covid-19 is spread almost entirely through respiration. You want quality methods to block small droplets from getting into your airways. The best, reasonable, approach is N95 mask + face shield. The face shield works best for large droplets flying right at you (probably the highest chance of catching it), the N95 mask catches any small droplets that might be able to turn corners mid-air (a much smaller, but non-zero chance).
Airplane travel is actually pretty safe. It is HEPA filtered air, blowing from above you to below you (if you open up the air valve!). That airflow pattern makes disease spread on airplanes rare. Studies are showing that plane transmission is possible, but does not happen very much. https://www.foxbusiness.com/lifestyle/cdc-11000-may-have-been-exposed-to-covid-19-on-airplanes
I agree completely. Long lines in the airport, packed together, sometimes for hours is where you get exposed to the most people and are most likely to get sick.Probably more likely to catch it in the airport itself, which is where I've tried to be safer. Can't silly, for travel overseas.
Mexico. Cancun. Playa de Carmen. Los Cabos.
Don't blame Trump for the Chyna virus lol.
Thanks!

I am currently on vacation in a major city and took a flight two days ago. It was fine.
