To give to like an old person who wants to travel on a plane, and who CANNOT get it because they are so old they might die. I saw some partial suit-like thing that covered the whole head/upper torso on some youtube ad one time, but I can't find it again. All ideas welcome. But must be able to wear it on a plane.

I am currently on vacation in a major city and took a flight two days ago. It was fine.

Don't get on a plane!

I'm old, with health issues, and odds are I will not survive COVID. You can't pay me to get on a fucking flying petri dish where the air is recirculated. Middle seat empty is just theater, you are breathing the air the person 10 rows away just exhaled.

That's why bars, restaurants, theaters, etc., etc., are closed or at max 25% capacity.

And it's people like you that keep bringing the virus to smaller cities. We have around 80 cases in our region, most of them are because of travelers who went down south to major cities. If people just learned to stay put in these times and stop spreading the virus, at least the smaller cities would be able to go back to normal.

Ha! Is it really that clear that 3M is sooo much better? Like here is one for $35 bucks basically, pretty much three for the price of that one!

And here is one for $16! It doesn't have a face mask, but I've read as long as you protect your nose and mouth openings the virus cannot get to you. Maybe just as good for a small fraction of the cost.

If you're literally saying its life or death, it seems like you'd be willing to spend $100. Clearly if this person dies it wouldn't bother you that much.

Also, Mexico is definitely not overseas lol

1. But I'm asking if it is basically wasted money to get one that costs like $118 when you can get one for freaking $16 and they seem like they should be basically almostly equally effective...

2. Come on man, we both know no one drives through Mexico the the Mexican beach resorts lol. Biden, is that you?!?!?

Most people know 3M generally makes a quality product. Look for reviews comparing respirators from 3M, King Bai Tech & FHDFHDF.
I can't speak to those types of respirators as i've never bought those.
