Good luck getting rid of that ringworm. It will take about two months and it IS contagious.

I've got a suspicion, but I need to see the area around it to be sure. Can you post more pictures of the area, ideally the entire leg...no nudes or anything like that, just bikini shots or something like that.

Nice attempt at persuasion, mr. bikini pic collector. :)

most like ringworm due to its shape.

eczema would usuall appear in flexural locations so behind the knees and at the elbow and usually isn't a nice symmetrical shape like that.

Could do what wrestlers do and just rub some bleach on it. Otherwise go to a doc and get some antifungals

Ringworm. It looks like it's gotten huge, unless that picture is really close up, it also looks like it's on the calf right below the knee. Possible sources - any sort of domesticated animal, most commonly a cat. So if she has it, your pet has it most likely. Causes, weak immune system.

See a doctor, get prescribed some ointment (most like prescription here in the states). Three times a day until gone. You are susceptible if your immune system sucks.

I got it. 6 weeks for removal, and that's considered fast. I had one spot. Good luck, and don't scratch.

It does itch from what she tells me, but it hasn't spread anywhere else on her body. We're thinking it's eczema, but wanted some other opinions. She'd go to the doctor, but doesn't have a primary care physician local to her. Thanks for the help.

What it looks like.

Not local but has one? Has insurance then call the insurance company to find a doctor local instead asking a bunch people you dont know on a medical problem that could endanger your g/f life sheeeesh

Have I mentioned yet how difficult it is to get rid of ringworm, especially if you have pets? They give it to you, you get it, you give it to every human living with you, cat gets better, you give it to cat, cat spreads it on others...ahh...the never ending life cycle of a fungal infection.

Seriously, there's medication for people and for pets as well if they're around. But isolate the pets and don't touch them until it's gone. It's going to take a while. When I had it, a total pain and it does spread. That means no fooling around between you and the girl.
