Response to letter #2
Hi Lori AKA SmoochyTX! (I?ll go ahead and assume it?s really you that sent this since the city of origin matches the profile information and all)
So am I imagining it, or did you put some perfume on this letter? If not, paper sure does smell better in Houston. I remember the last time I took a trip to Denver when I came back to Milwaukee I realized that Wisconsin smells like crap. I guess it?s just like that effect where you can?t tell what the room you?re in smells like until you leave it for a while and come back.
No, I don?t mind that you sent me a letter. It?s nice to sit here, relax, and write something on an adult level after spending all day dealing with 7th graders
😉
The only freaky person from ATOT I see in any regularity is HomeBrewerDude? probably the best boss ever. I sure am glad it?s Friday though and I can sleep in tomorrow and not worry about school or work. It?s getting pretty cold up here. Unfortunately my radiators are too hot even when the valves are turned off as tight as I can make them. I had to crack a couple windows in the apartment to get the temperature right. Things have certainly improved with the radiators though since they were broken just a short while ago. 58 degrees was a little chilly in my apartment. I?m usually a pretty warm guy, so having to take a blanket out was a sure sign that something was wrong.
I too think that the handwriting is from a girl. I doubt it?s a crush though but rather just an anonymous place to vent some stuff with the added bonus of possible entertainment for others. It?s funny you say crush though, since I was told just today that between 1-3 girls probably have a crush on me. Lucky for them I?m not uhohs since they?re some of my students
😛 I was certainly confused when I heard it though since they act so awful in class? but I guess that might be to get my attention?
My favorite tree is the Sugar Maple. As ?browser? at the zoo, I spent many summer mornings driving my golf cart around looking for a good Sugar Maple to trim so I could feed the branches to the various animals (elk, caribou, camels, elephants, giraffes, etc.). On a dare from ?Crazy Joe?, I tried one of the leaves and found out that it tastes like broccoli. I?ve eaten quite a few maple leaves since then, which I will do whenever I get the urge. Of course there?s the bitter after taste, but sometime you?ve just got to eat a leaf, right?
I can relate to your frustration on TV scheduling, but I haven?t had to worry about that in quite a while. I don?t even have a tuner attached to my projector at all, so I just use it to watch movies that I get from Netflix. Unfortunately I haven?t even turned my projector all week due to how busy I?ve been. I think I?ve spent more time this week researching a new projector and power conditioner / UPS to protect it than I have spent watching my current one over the last 3 weeks. Kind of sad?
I could use a vacation too. I get an urge to go on one every once in a while but that usually fades within a couple days. I don?t tend to have a very long attention span for interests in general. My decision to wait a while before making purchasing decisions on hobbies and trips has saved me thousands of dollars over the years? but leaves me with the conclusion that I?m a pretty boring person.
If a fuzzy snuggle bunny might help, then go for it.

since before I can remember? literally? and he?s still keeping me company from time to time. Your letter certainly smells better than he does.
Have a good night / day / whatever? depending on when you read this.
I?d have sent a letter back, but I guess you?re too smart to put your address up on ATOT
😉
