The vampire we're talking about looks like Kate Beckinsale? That's a different story then, just beg for your life and beg her to let you be her servant instead. Who knows, she might turn you. :D

Can make believe really overcome reality? Hmm, I don't know. OP can you answer that question?

The only thing that can kill a vampire is a wooden stake through the heart.

The necklace of garlic and the crucifix only protects you from him/her.

I thought everyone knew that.

Maybe you should ask the guy who wants to commit homicide for his CloudSong.

Garlic and running water repels vampires: Myth. Such notions are nothing more than old wives' tales, cultural biases or perhaps the bane of certain bloodlines of Kindred.

Vampires are repulsed by crosses and other holy symbols: Myth - almost. While such is not generally the case, the devout sometimes do affect the Kindred with miraculous aspects of their faith.

You can kill vampires as you would any other creature, if you're badass enough to overpower their superhuman abilities.

If in the course of battle, you yourself become infected, you may cure it immediately through any traditional means. If, however, you allow yourself to become a full-fledged vampire, you must fashion a cure. To do so, you will need the following items and some badass alchemical skillz:
- 6 Garlic Cloves
- 2 Bloodgrass shoots
- 5 nightshade leaves
- 1 unit Argonian Blood
- The ashes of the vampire named Hindaril, who was last reported living in the vampire nest at Red Water Slough.

If, however, you decide that being a vampire is actually pretty cool, you may find this information helpful: Text

A wooden stake destroys vampires: Myth. Vampires aren't destroyed upon being staked, they're held in stasis. A vampire's body slowly withers and turns inward while trapped in this state, desiccating and becoming even more corpselike.

According to an MST3K episode, Sampson vs The Vampire Women, the sight of a cross can cause a vampire to burst into flames. I don't know if two fingers is enough.

Another question - what if a vampire sees a cloud that looks like it might be a cross? Good enough? What if a vampire imagines a cross? What if a vampire is feeling cross? What if a vampire comes to a street he must cross?

False. It is merely a motivator for suicide.

If you are being hunted by a vampire, your best course of action is as follows...

1.) Grind up and boil garlic, fill a supersoaker with it and carry it at all times.
2.) Grab the largest and sharpest piece of silverware you can find, it will come in handy if the vampire gets into melée range.
3.) Keep those two items on you at all times and make your way to a church or other holy site, the vampire cannot set foot there.
4.) Stay there and hope that it loses interest, assuming you're not a martial artist you won't stand a chance in a face-to-face confrontation.

Great, now list the best ways to stop a rampaging gorilla if you don't have a gun.

It's sad that you'll be able to list every way to kill a vampire but probably won't know what to do if a gorilla is about to smash your face in out of sheer hilarious rage. Also, it's infinitely more likely than a vampire attack.

Then why can't vampires knowingly cross rivers?
