I've posted this before but this whole "greater houston is all democrats" line you and other parrot is BS. There are only 2 districts that voted for HRC in 2016 and they did so by razor-thin margins. The rest of the state with the exception of the southern part, which wasn't damaged by harvey, is blood red deplorable country.

Houston is a huge city with the greater metropolitan area being mostly occupied by deplorables, amongst them many former oil executives who spent their whole lives building up climate change and destroying the environment.
