As much as the Cowboys are trying to lose, the Redskins cant take advantage.

thats cuz both these teams suck.

people talk about the nfc east being so tough, lol. its competitive but not tough. none of those teams will represent the nfc in the bowl.

just a bunch or mediocrity.

Did you watch the Giants vs Eagles game or were you sleeping on Mars?
yeah, i watched. so you're saying the eagles or giants are going to the bowl  whats your point? like i said, its competitive, not good.

did you see carolina v minny? that was competitive. doesn't make either team good.

lol @ the skins. brunell averaging 3.5 yards/pass attempt.

top notch.

oh, they have more penalty yards than passing yards

So in your way of thinking the only divisions that were tough last year were the NFC west and the AFC North...

Ridiculous...

Dallas deserved that win, plain and simple.

Somebody warm up Jason Campbell, for the love of the Flying Spaghetti Monster...

no, but it wasn't the nfc east, lol.

god damnit i'm pissed. i'm a skins fan and that game was just a disgrace to even watch. what the hell were they thinking going for it on 4th and 7, when regardless they needed 3 scores?

the play calling and clock management in this game was probably THE WORST i've ever witnessed in a redkins game. it was just sad. i'm almost embarassed to admit i'm a skins fan.

Hardly. Dallas rocked a division rival at home, and lost a close game to a very good AFC team on the road.

The NFC East is still a beast. If anything, the NFC South has shown their mediocrity. The only NFC teams that have shown me they are at that level are the Falcons, Bears, and Vikings....and I highly doubt the Vikings stay undefeated for long.

Its a long season still.

Anyone could've beat that beloved patriot team tonight with Brunell at the helm.

I like the Vikings team, last year I was calling for them to go to the Superbowl. They've got a great line, Taylor is underrated, and I really like their defense. I just don't think Brad Johnson can play at a high level for a full season - he's just too old.

Do I see an NFC East team in the Superbowl? Tough question. Given the hard schedules of all four teams (in addition to playing each other, they play the AFC South and NFC South, a lot of good teams there), its doubtful that an East team will get home field advantage, which is tough. My pick right now would probably be Seattle, especially with Deion Branch. They did have a tough time with Detroit though, who got destroyed by the Bears. We'll see, like I said, it is a very long season and we've barely scratched the surface.

no, its a simple question 🙂 of course the correct answer is-
My pick right now would probably be Seattle, especially with Deion Branch. .
the nfc east is overrated. like i said, its fun to watch them play because they all play hard but theres not a team that would scare the pats, steelers or colts.

The Colts barely squeeked out a win against the Giants (who were not playing well), and they needed a BS offensive pass inteference call to hold on.

None of the teams in the NFC scare me. Especially Deeko's pretenders.

as a vikings fan, i'm kinda surprised to see anyone include them as contenders..

The Colts won.
But it's silly to say that the Giants wouldn't scare them. If the Giants were on their game they could've won that game GOING AWAY.
