Does CoP more resemble SoC or CS? I loved SoC especially with the OL mod - played the game twice. For whatever reason, I got bored with CS within an hour or two.

Stalker doesn't look bad IMO, but the efficiency of the engine is just awful. Considerably worse graphics than Crisis with the same performance? No thanks.

I played CS and in terms of graphics it was a mixed bag, but overall it looked good. The amount of detail wasn't as much as Crysis, for example in foliage and some textures, and you could see the LOD limitations with lighting of objects further away. But the lighting and detail of close-up objects was impressive, and the sun effects were simply awesome.

I havent played COP yet, but I thought the day and night cycle in Clear sky was the best in any game. And when theirs a thunderstorm at night its just breathtaking.

Yes, the day and night cycles in STALKER are good. Could be better though. A dynamic sky would make it much better. Although, the static backdrops do alter seamlessly.

If it resembles the other two even remotely, I am all over it. These games are fantastic. If anyone wants to benchmark their system, they have released a benchmark Pripyat demo kind of like futuremark or the RE 5 demo. It can be found on guru3d or http://cop.stalker-game.com/?page=news&item=150 And incidentally, anyone complaining about the graphics isn't installing the right mods. There's not alot of foliage or jungle sections to compare but the buildings are pretty darned photo realistic at times. I'll take the gameplay of the Stalkers over Crysis any day.
