Waiting for a free weekend,i may just get it if reviews are good enough.I did miss the beta so i got really no idea what to expect from this game as far as hardware requirements go.

Vram hog like AW?I got a 2gb 770 that ran COD BO2 like no ones business then suddenly i have to lower enough textures in AW to get that game to even run alright without stuttering.

I played the steam beta and to be honest, that was exactly what I needed that made me preorder the game.

After the crap called COD-AW (which I still play since I'm a diehard COD fan), I wasn't expecting much but this BLOPS3, to me, it felt more like the good ole MW1/II (and COD4). I also liked the map design and weapon handling.

Using my XBox controller and it seems aim assist is enabled by default :sneaky:...at times, I had guys yell at me that I was using aimbot!!

But definitely feels and handles like a old school COD game now. Can't wait (and Fallout4).

Oldest COD i own is WAW and only got it cause i bought BO2 and it included WAW.Pretty enjoyable outside of half the servers being a lag fest but i guess that's a common issue with older games with a low population of players.

I recently got a retail copy of COD4,hope i could see your comparison soon.Idk if WAW and COD4 feel differently at all to fans like you or anyone who is a diehard player of the series.

Will this game have a single player with bots? I know it has a campaign but I'm looking for individual missions like Battlefield 2 and Battlefront?
Anyone? I wonder if someone will make a single player mod later on?

Also, will the xbox one version version have aim assist? I ask because I absolutely suck when using controllers.

Not getting it, I used to be a diehard CoD fan but stopped with MW2, I did get AW last year but only lasted a couple weeks with it and traded it in. It was extremely repetitive.

Didnt they say the same thing about BO1 and BO2? That would be a step in the right direction if they actually do it this time around.

I recalling hearing rumors such as this around Black Ops 1, but it was always he said, she said, type stuff. This is a bit different in that it's on the developers page. Another thing that makes it all the more believable is that they are now on a three year development cycle rather than two, maybe they have more downtime in which to develop additional assets before having to start work on the next title.

Any thoughts on the game now that it's released? I'm wanting a multi-player FPS on the PC and trying to decide between this and SW: BF. I tried Halo 5 for a few days and I just can't get over playing an FPS with a controller.

Steam reviews are saying the game is pretty broken right now. Lag, crashes, pretty much the stuff we've come to expect from a AAA title on first day. There's a report that editing the config. files helps the game run better, but I saw a ton of thumbs down reviews saying to hold off until they patch it. I was actually considering getting it this morning. Haven't played a CoD title since the WWII days.

Figures. I have not played a AAA title this year without some broken mechanic or feature.

Been playing it for PC last night and this morning. Haven't come across any bugs with the game. Been doing primarily multiplayer.

This is probably one of the most stable/solid releases I've seen for a CoD game in 4-5 years. Animations are good, sound is good and the gameplay is solid. Haven't come across any hackers so far. No crashes, no lag, and no glitches that I can recall. Overall I'm very pleased.

The one thing I will say is to make sure update your graphics drivers if you've got a nvidia card. They released a new version within the past couple days that enables some things for the game and ensures your card doesn't have any issues.

For $42 I decided to pick it up from GMG. Thanks Agent for the heads up. I don't own an i5 though. I'm running an i7 2700k. Will report back how the game's running later.

They released a patch today to "fix" the i5 issues. I put that in quotes since I can't verify the fix.

It wouldn't get past the startup Activision video the first 5 times I tried to run it, but finally worked after verify the files a second time. Football games came back on at the point so I haven't got to play yet.

Well, I got my COD wake up call. First match, half the players are over rank 40, can instant aim and kill with a sniper rifle while jumping around. I played a lot of BF3/4 and never saw anyone with that type of skill in over 1,000 hours.

teething problems, but once sorted I am enjoying this campaign alot more than usual.. good immersion, excellent graphics, cool story.
First off the game would have mouse lag, like a lot, a whole lot.. but its fixable, once you get past that its a blast.

Did u get nuke town map? Let me know if u have any problems.
Their version doesn't have nuketown. https://twitter.com/GreenManGaming/status/661588040024854529

Cdkeys does sell a version with nuketown. I think they sell discounted keys they get cheaper from other countries. I have bought a really cheap game from them once. They confirm the sale with a robo call where you have to answer a couple of questions so you must give them a real number and be at the phone.

For those of you who own AW, how does it compare? I am a sucker for wanting to buy this after purchasing AW and only have 5 hours logged on in the game.
