halo jumped the shark when they went to loadouts. part of the fun in that game was weapons control.

I strongly disagree. My issues were the negatives stolen from CoD. A big part was the addition of the highly-inaccurate Killcam, it bothers me in every game. I also wasn't a big fan of ordinance. However, the part of the game that REALLY killed it for me was the map situation. They only gave us about 10 maps, then split them up between small and big game types, so going into the Team Slayer lobby left you with about 5 different maps (Haven, Abandon, Adrift, Solace, and some had Complex). They tried to improve it with the community-made maps, but they were very lag-prone.

On top of that, the maps you got in 4-on-4 were tiny. You could get from one end to the other in about 10 seconds, it seemed. They added the ability to sprint, but also tightened the 4-on-4 maps, it seemed. That led to frustration in grouping up and respawning, and it meant rage quitting after a few bad matches with a lot of spawn killing.

well the problem was halo tried to be cod instead of halo, which is i guess what i mean more when i said it jumped the shark. it was good with the traditional halo formula. i hope the new one goes back to the traditional formula. if halo 2 10th anniversary comes out on the x1 this year as rumored, i guarantee that game will do EXTREMELY well.

back on topic... the video in the OP doesn't work anymore.

I'd rather they skip the Halo 2 Anniversary. What I'd have rather seen is the Halo show in 2014, Halo 5 in 2015, and an HD collection of all the Halo games on the One in 2016 (maybe not include Wars or ODST).

Didnt care for Ghost that much, CoD is the only shooter I really like so I hope this brings me back into it.
