Go to callofduty.com and register.
They are only requiring keys because they want to test the new method of how they track players.

It's not thread crapping when the title is totally misleading. Beta and demo are two very different things, and place doesn't provide any kind of info on how to get keys. Totally useless.

The beta is fun. Its basically a WWII mod of COD4..I dont know if its worth $50.

lol yeah what's up with that. A website dedicated to COD5 and they call it a demo over and over again, and never mention that you need a key to install it. Boy, that sure makes me want to visit their site for uptodate and accurate COD5 info lol

Would be great if I could keep it from instantly crashing. The COD5 Beta boards were of no help. Looks like many are having this problem in Vista 32-Bit.

there's a key if anyone wants it. they sent it to me because i had registered at cod.com a while back for the 360 beta. so i don't need this one.

just post letting people know you used it.

I don't think its worth $50.
The rounds are way too short.
Maps look good but all of them but roundhouse seem too small.

And the game actually tells you how to get a key when you install it.

If you login at the callofduty site and check your profile they should be there.

your key is tied to your account it seems, btw

never asks you to login or anything, its all based on your account you regged and the key you put in

i really like the game, but it seems a bit TOO twitch for me atm, i'll keep trying tho

Pretty fun for a beta mp demo. Only 3 maps. Just like COD4. No graphics enhancement. They should at least add more detail on the PC version.

Uh...wasn't CoD-4 released just last year? When do they anticipate releasing CoD-5? How will it be improved? Will the PC version get consolized?

i dunno much first had about cod4 (never played it) but from what I've read/heard about it this seems like COD4 with different maps/sounds/gun models and that's about it... heh

I thought it was obvious that sequels coming out 1 year later are very common.
