Speak not of gray. They are illegal and should really be shot. There should even be a bounty on their heads so the gun nuts can earn some cash. They are not here illegally and ignorance or even innocence is no excuse for a crime. Don't fuck with the brain dead or I'll open a can on you.

So what is your solution for the general illegal immigration problem? Do you think we should even bother with borders? Keep the status quo? Militarize the border?

It is easy to make fun of other peoples opinions, but what is your solution to the issue?

They know that CA will not deport anyone
Today perhaps, but political winds can and do change especially in an economy that is in a downward spiral looking for scapegoats instead of solutions.

Just like wearing a yellow star at first was not a big deal eventually you would find yourself aboard a train heading to some camp.

It's true that both political parties are fans of illegal immigration. Most Americans, however, are not.

And in this case, you would be incorrect as polls show that Americans are in favor of giving these individuals working permits.

This forum doesn't reflect the opinion of the majority of America.

Is this the kind of thing you're talking about? Most Americans are lenient towards young illegals. Maybe Nehelem was not including all the facts when you responded him but still let's clarify that most Americans want more action taken on illegals.

I'm talking about this particular situation. The OP's article is about making these individuals eligible for driver's licenses. The majority including the troll OP like usual didn't read or understand the article and think it's making all illegal aliens eligible.

A constitutional convention that outlaws money and corporations from politics. Public financing of fact checked political advertising, ie, mandatory surrender of the airwaves by the media for a short period before elections. Public flogging of polititicians caught in gross lies.

Now look at it practically. If you are NOT going to deport / remove them, and they are spending the rest of their lives here, are they - or are they not going to work and drive and do everything else?

Why just corporations? Why not all private organizations: corporations, non-profits, religions, unions?

Public financing of fact checked political advertising, ie, mandatory surrender of the airwaves by the media for a short period before elections.

And who will do this fact checking? Fox news? :D

Public flogging of polititicians caught in gross lies.

I approve of the flogging idea!

They didn't break any laws troll. Their parents brought them here. They don't have criminal records and want to work and pay taxes here. And over 70% of Americans agree.

Your hate and stupidity is tiring here. I'd rather have them here then a POS like yourself.

Then after their parents are charged with engaging in international child trafficking they can get driver's licenses.

So we have just given up on deporting illegals?

Obama flat out stated he wasnt going to do anything. And he actively fights states that try to take action, like Arizona.

After Reagan it should have been obvious they werent going anywhere. He was the meaning craziest president we've ever had, and he couldnt get rid of them.

The deportation of illegals under Obama is way way up over what Bush did.

Thats nice. Letting 2 million in and kicking 50 thousand out doesnt really impress me. And if all you got is to compare yourself to Bush, you dont really have anything.

No problem found. If they're eligible to get a work permit and work in this country then they should be eligible to get a driver's license.

i agree. however i dont agree they should be allowed to vote or get government subsidies. however i do believe the process to citizenship should be streamlined with clauses. like instead of making people live illegally for 7 years before they are even eligible to become citizens, why not make it 1 year with a 6 year probation? meaning if you get a felony in that time, you lose your probation and you go back to your homeland.

There should be a requirement that they have to purchase an American Vehicle.

Last time I took the drivers license test after letting my license expire, I had to provide 3 documents proving I was a citizen and where I lived and had to have proof of insurance. How they going to do all that?
I also believe that in California, you have to show proof of taking an authorized drivers ED coarse. Used to be taught in schools, --now, $200+.

Many conservatives have suggested the first sentiment, as a way to get money out of politics. Seems both sides and moderates agree that is needed.

But what do these ideas have to do with illegal immigration? I asked what you would do in regards to this issue? Keep the status quo, militarize the border, build a wall? Something in between?
