Are you kidding? Most of California is either illegal or uneducated urbanites. There's the perception that everyone is wealthy and liberal because those are the ones in power. They raise taxes and promise the poor state welfare to get elected and shove a stick up middle class people like me.

Edit: There is a HUGE difference between "well-educated" and "over-educated." "Samuel Alito is well-educated. The elitests in California are over-educated."

Because they sold there tiny California house for $1 million dollars and now they can buy a mansion in your state.
Somehow people will keep paying huge money for crappy houses just to live in California.

lol, there is truth in that. IIRC my friend bought a 2700sqft socal house for $200,000 in 1997. He sold it for $600,000 in 2001 and bought a 5000sqft house in Vegas for $500,000.

California is like the Eastern Seaboard, large and diverse. Sure they have their idiots just like the Eastern Seaboard has it North Carolinians, but then they also have great cities like the Eastern Seaboard has Boston, New York and Miami.
