Anthropomorphism doesn't suddenly become reasonable when applied to religion. Islam, or any other religion, does not DO or NOT DO anything, it's PEOPLE that have these behaviors and limitations.

Agreed, but that ideology is almost always INDIVIDUAL ideology. Since when can the ideological views of hundreds of millions of people be grouped into a broad ideology that controls them all? You can't get two American liberals or American conservatives to agree on very many things, the range of ideology among Christians is astonishing, and even individuals from very similar backgrounds often have dramatically different views of the world. So why is an ideology as broad as "Islam" responsible for individual behavior...what makes it such a special case?
