Caddyshack IS a stupid movie, but it's one of the best stupid movies of all time... it's classic. Some people like those types of movies, some don't.

Ghostbusters is my all time favorite movie. It was my youth. I watched GB2 in theaters, along with Groundhog day. I watched Stripes on tv and loved it. I LOVED Bill Murray and Harold Ramis. But I never got around to watching Caddyshack. I finally got a nice 1080p print of it and watched it last year. I tried so hard to get into it, but I just couldn't. Even though it did have a couple of chuckles. I guess I would have had to have seen it back when I was 5 to at least get the nostalgia factor going for it. It's too late now.
