I would replace it with an alpine or something but I know that as soon as I do it, someone's going to smash my window and take it. 🙁

They are decent speakers. But with the money you'd spend on Bose take it elsewhere and buy something better.

I specifically avoided the Blose stereo package when I bought my car. God knows the factory stereo (non-Blose) sucked but the Blose crap would have made upgrading much more difficult. Not to mention the fact that the factory Blose sucks horse cock.

Only when wired with Monster Cable Van de graaff Elite Edition with equipotential rings to reduce transisent intermodulation distortion for cleaner mids and stratospheric highs that will take your breath away. :Q

Bose is on par with, say, a GPX alarm clock from 5 years ago. Paper cones, crap surrounds, small inefficient magnets, piss-poor cross overs. Essentially you pay a ton of money for a $99 HTIB.

Well not officially yet, but used a lot in audio speak. Satisfactory wasn't registered in the dictionary for a long time, but was highly accepted by marketing.

I never heard anyone say that Bose speakers suck (or blow), but I have heard many many times that they are overpriced. My listening experiences with them has always been positive, but I never purchased or owned any myself.
