There is a service called Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited you might want to check out. I don't know all that it includes though.

Just imagine if posters had to be worthy in order to post on AT...or for that matter the internet......opps no JEDIYoda..lolol

yeah,..guess what? Zelda is a girl...

That is the point though. It is showing a female version of Link, with that caption. The name of the game itself is pretty silly, as it really isn't the legend of Zelda, but the legend of Link. Zelda is just a princess forever in another castle.

I thought zelda was always in one castle? Princess toad was the one in another castle

Depends on how far back you want to go. The book Thor 1 that this all took part in does a good job of explaining what happened to get to this point. The thing that made Thor "unworthy" to be... Thor was in the Original Sin but the book shows that. What the exact thing that cause it all was never revealed to the readers.

Not the first time this has happened.

Perhaps I don't understand the myth, but I thought Thor was named Thor before he got the hammer etc. So, after losing the hammer he'll still be Thor, right?

If so, this new character shouldn't be called Thor. She should just retain her original name. E.g., 'Suzy, the (new) Thunder god'.

Marvel Comics has never stuck right with the myth (went with blonde rather than red hair, etc).

Still.. in their mythos my understanding was that Thor was his name, not a moniker.

Series writer Jason Aaron emphasizes, “This is not She-Thor. This is not Lady Thor. This is not Thorita. This is THOR. This is the THOR of the Marvel Universe. But it’s unlike any Thor we’ve ever seen before.”
Yet he goes on to talk about Thor and what he'll be doing now without his hammer & powers.. and everyone else will keep calling Thor - Thor. So that leaves the question, what will the fans call this gal?

Thorina is what sprung to mind for me. (And Mr. Aaron didn't rule that one out 😀)

Somehow Suzy, the God of Thunder sounds amusing and kinda like a P0rn flick 🙂

Plot twist: everyone is Thor.

And don't forget to tune in for the sequel:
everyone always was Thor.

First thought... Now I see what the complaining about her mannish shoulders is about (and why this is a variant cover rather than the main one they went with).
Reminds me of when I watched an Olympic water polo match with a friend and we kept going back and forth about if the teams were composed of men or women. We really weren't able to settle on one or the other!

Second thought.. Is she 2-handed wielding a glowing blue strap-on?

If it's a succesful spinoff Thor becomes worthy again and she'll get a newly crafted weapon, or a weapon from a powerful enemy she defeats before Thor regains his worth (which then probably happens in the fight with the bad guy, where he can pick up the weapon to help her defeat it or something).

Didn't see that, lmao.

Marvel should just really double down and go with a transgender Thor. Because fuck the fanbase, right?
