So my boss' assistant is a 40yo virgin. but not nearly as good a sense of humor as steve carrell. he's a strict christian type that's saving it for marriage or something, but he's such a bore he has yet to find someone. kinda of sad, but oh well.
He casually comes up to me today proudly holding a BW picture he printed of the internet. A very pretty girl holding a cat. He says "think she's too young for me?"

"how old is she?"

"30"

"she's pretty, where'd you meet her?"

"the internet, she's from russia, we've been talking almost everyday."

i don't know what to say, i'm afraid if i say anything the only thing that will come out is laughter. then, as he walks away i just feel really sad. i usually have a twisted sense of humor but this is just making me depressed.

yeah i didn't have the heart to say anything. I mean this chick was way too beautiful. I'm just gonna pretend that she's a hot hardcore christian, and she admires his religious conviction and finds it attractive. it's much less depressiong than the likely reality.

I don't think he came to him for advice, but more to brag at him finally finding someone (even though he will be scammed out of his money and it is probably a dude).

If the box has any holes on the side that says "this end up", send it back. Same thing happened to me with a monitor.
