Is there any disadvantage from buying phones and a plan from a third party, like BB or Amazon, or other company on the internet instead of from the wireless provider? The phones seem to be quite a bit cheaper for a new plan.
Also, can I still get my company discount (on activation and monthly costs) if I don't go directly through the wireless company? I tried calling them about that but didn't get anywhere.
And if anyone knows, what decent phone can I get from AT&T for $50 or under? I really just need basic voice service.
