if he paid by paypal, you are in trouble.
he can easily get his money back if you can't provide tracking.
yep, if you can't prove a DC number you are screwed.

Priority Mail is not guaranteed to get there in three days. Usually, it does. As a matter of fact, it really isn't treated that much different than 1st Class Mail -- you just pay more for it. I have had it take more than a week for priority to get where it was supposed to go. You also sent it out after a holiday, so it might take a little longer. Wait until the end of the week, and if you haven't got it there by then, I would start to investigate recovery by insurance.

Take your money out of Paypal asap, just in case.

you get your money?
Yes, I received an instant payment. It doesn't mean anything since the buyer can do a chargeback.

If you bought insurance, it should have come with a tracking number, call 800 number and have them run a trace, if it was delivered it was signed for, all insured shipments do.

Your insurance number will be able to act like a psuedo tracking number.
Someone has to sign for the item at the PO to release USPS from the liability.
As stated above, you have to wait a set time to file a claim.
Should the buyer insist of some type of chargeback, you can point to the insurance number and advise that they need to let the USPS do their thing.
Also, because of the holiday, there may be a slight delay.
If it does not show by Wed, you should contact your local PO.
You may be able to check the insurance number from the USPS web site.

I thought insurance doesn't come with any tracking number.
Well the USPS states that you screwed up.Originally posted by: Cloud Strife
I just called USPS with the insurance number. They said the address was insufficient and it should be delivered back to me. However, USPS, does not know where my item is currently; it could be in-transit to my address or could be held at the buyer's local Post Office for a certain period. WTF!

dude you might be saved from a scam then
or else the scammer is smart enough to know how to get the package to the PO to pick it up and then "disappear"
